ABOUT STEVIE JO

For me, I hope my art is all about connection.
Connection of me to my viewers, connection of the viewer to
the art and more importantly, having the viewer connect to

nature and their own Higher Spirit.

Whatever name they relate to; Yahweh, Buddha, Muhammad,
God, Allah. The name they use in prayer, one in which they
connect and know that we belong to a bigger picture then what

our eyes see here on earth.

​

That we connect to each other on another level, to live in
peace. That we are all one and should treat others as our own.
A connection that makes us stop fighting, stop our dualistic
thinking and instead treat others as our own brothers, sisters,

mothers, and fathers.

​

I pray to this end when I connect with my work and strive to
use my hands for love; to the best of my ability knowing that,
“Whatever my hands find to do I do it with all my heart.”
It’s my ceaseless prayer that others would perceive and

connect with this prayer.
